Queensland Government's Cairns Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join Surgical South, a 32-bed ward covering Urology, Plastics and Burns, Colorectal, GI, Hepatobiliary, Breast and General Surgery. You will deliver patient-centred care across the surgical journey, including pre- and post-operative management.

You will provide advanced clinical care, collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, support discharge planning and participate in quality initiatives.

Aufgaben

• Deliver exceptional patient-centred care across the surgical journey, including pre- and post-operative management.
• Provide advanced clinical care, including complex medication administration, IV therapy, wound management, surgical drain care, and trauma nursing.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support patient education, discharge planning, and positive patient outcomes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, including quality activities, audits, and accreditation standards.
