Job summary

Skilled Medical is seeking a Surgical Consultant for a placement at a public hospital in Central Queensland from 23/11/2026 to 03/12/2026. The role includes rostered duties across clinics, theatre and wards, with a 07:00–17:30 schedule Monday to Friday.

On-call rotates: weekdays and weekends on a 1 in 6 basis. Travel: economy return up to $1,500 or mileage at $0.88/km. Accommodation provided as a self-contained unit and a $50/day car allowance is supplied.

Responsibilities

• Cover clinics, theatres and wards as rostered.
• On‑call rotations weekdays 1 in 6 and weekends 1 in 6.
