About The Role

You’ll support people to live independently and safely in their own homes and communities. This hands‑on role involves helping with daily tasks, personal care, and building meaningful connections - guided by care plans and supported by a great team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with household tasks like cleaning, laundry, and meal prep
  • Supporting with personal care (e.g. showering, dressing)
  • Helping with medication, mobility, or rehab exercises (as needed and with training)
  • Encourage community connection and personal goal achievement
  • Communicate changes or concerns to coordinators
  • Build respectful, professional relationships with clients

We are looking for permanent part-time staff to support in the following areas: Payneham, Magill, Golden Grove, Modbury, Kensington Gardens.

Successful candidates can expect a minimum of 20 hours per week, Mon-Fri (7am-3pm).

About You

We are looking for experienced mental health support workers with a great attitude, reliability and genuine care for others.

You’ll also bring:

  • Cert 3 Individual Support or similar relevant qualification (1st/ 2nd year of RN degree)
  • NDISWSC
  • WWCC
  • National Police Check
  • Driver’s license and access to a roadworthy vehicle
  • First Aid & CPR
  • Italian speaking is a bonus
