Job summary

The CareSide is seeking a compassionate Support Worker to assist clients with daily activities in VIC, enabling safe, independent living at home. The role involves helping with personal care, household tasks, social support, and transport to appointments.

Hours are around 8 per week on a pattern: Mon 10:00–12:00, Wed and Fri 13:00–15:00. Travel reimbursement, PPE, and uniform provision are included to support a collaborative care team.

Qualifications

• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• National Police Clearance Certificate.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence with registered vehicle and insurance.
• Smartphone.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care: showers, dressing, grooming, toileting, and medication prompts.
• Assist with domestic tasks: cleaning, meal prep, shopping.
• Offer social support and respite care.
• Transport clients to appointments.
• Maintain accurate care records.

About The Role

We are looking for a compassionate Support Worker to join our fast-growing team in VIC. As a Support Worker/Carer, you will be responsible for assisting clients with various daily activities to help them continue to live safely and independently at home.

This role involves supporting a client with their day-to-day needs across several regular shifts during the week.

This role requires approximately 8 hours per week on the following schedule:

• Monday: 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
• Wednesday & Friday: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
