Job summary

Voyage Care in Deal is seeking dedicated Support Workers to help people gain independence and improve their quality of life. You will work within a friendly residential service, supporting daily activities, personal care, and community involvement, including outings to local venues and leisure activities.

Ideal candidates are genuinely caring, flexible, and resilient, with experience in Positive Behaviour Support and with individuals needing enhanced support. DBS checks will be completed.

Qualifications

Experience with Positive Behaviour Support plans.
Experience working with individuals requiring enhanced support.
Experience with behaviour distress, mental health conditions, autism, forensic histories and trauma.
Must hold a full UK driving licence.
Be resilient, flexible and composed in approach.

Responsibilities

Help people gain more independence in daily life.
Teach and reinforce life skills.
Assist with personal care and encourage community access.
Support activities: socialising, outings to bars, cinemas, etc.
Be part of a dynamic team at a residential service in Deal.
