Job summary

A community care organization in Adelaide is seeking experienced support workers to assist clients in living independently. You will provide hands-on support with daily tasks, personal care, and ensure meaningful connections. Candidates should have relevant qualifications and experience with ageing clients. This casual role offers a minimum of 15 hours per week in various locations including Wayville and Glenelg.

Qualifications

• Experience with ageing clients.
• NDISWSC certificate.
• WWCC certification.
• National Police Check.
• Driver's licence and access to a roadworthy vehicle.
• First Aid & CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with household tasks like cleaning, laundry, and meal prep.
• Supporting with personal care like showering and dressing.
• Helping with medication, mobility, or rehab exercises.
• Encouraging community connection and personal goal achievement.
• Communicating changes or concerns to coordinators.
• Building respectful, professional relationships with clients.

About The Role

You’ll support people to live independently and safely in their own homes and communities. This hands‑on role involves helping with daily tasks, personal care, and building meaningful connections - guided by care plans and supported by a great team.

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting with household tasks like cleaning, laundry, and meal prep
• Supporting with personal care (e.g. showering, dressing)
• Helping with medication, mobility, or rehab exercises (as needed and with training)
• Encourage community connection and personal goal achievement
• Communicate changes or concerns to coordinators
• Build respectful, professional relationships with clients

We are looking for casual staff to support in the following areas: Wayville, Glenelg, Edwardstown & Unley

Successful candidates can expect a minimum of 15 hours per week.
