Job summary

Next Step Living PTY LTD in Sydney is seeking reliable female disability support workers for casual shifts across North Parramatta and Wollstonecraft. Up to 20 hours per week, with rosters across two participants who do not clash.

You will support participants with disability and autism, assist with community access, daily living, transport, and documentation. Requires current First Aid/CPR, WWCC, NDIS Worker Screening, and a vehicle.

Female Disability Support Worker – Casual

North Parramatta & Wollstonecraft | Up to 20 Hours Per Week

Next Step Living is a family-run NDIS provider supporting participants across Sydney. We are looking for reliable, energetic and compassionate female disability support workers to join our growing team.

We have 20 hours of casual work available each week across two participants in North Parramatta and Wollstonecraft. Applicants can apply for one participant’s roster or take on both, as the shifts do not clash.

About the supports

North Parramatta – 14 hours per week

Regular shifts:

• Tuesday: 9:00 am–12:00 pm
• Thursday: 9:00 am–12:00 pm
• Friday: 9:00 am–12:00 pm
• Saturday: 9:00 am–2:00 pm

The role involves:

• Supporting a young participant with community access and everyday activities
• Encouraging independence, confidence and social participation
• Providing positive, engaging and high-energy support

Wollstonecraft – 6 hours per week

Regular shifts:

• Tuesday: 4:00 pm–7:00 pm
• Thursday: 4:00 pm–7:00 pm

The role involves:

• Supporting a participant with autism
• Assisting with daily activities and community participation
• Providing calm, consistent and structured support

Applicants may apply for:

• The 14-hour North Parramatta roster
• The 6-hour Wollstonecraft roster
• Both rosters, providing a total of 20 hours per week

Duties may include:

• Community access and social activities
• Transport to appointments and activities
• Supporting participants to develop independence and daily living skills
• Following individual support plans and established routines
• Completing progress notes and reporting any concerns
• Building respectful and professional relationships with participants and their families
