Job summary

Anglicare Southern Queensland is seeking Part-time Service Support Workers to help older clients stay independent by providing cleaning support in their homes across the Sunshine Coast region, including Noosaville, Noosa Heads, Tewantin, Sunshine Beach and nearby areas.

You will follow domestic care plans, work independently with the elderly, and travel between client homes using your own vehicle. A current driver license is required.

• Clear communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with clients and their families
• Demonstrated ability to be able to work independently and effectively with the elderly

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning support in clients' homes across the Sunshine Coast region
• Follow domestic care plans to assist clients with daily tasks
• Travel to client homes in suburbs such as Noosaville, Noosa Heads, Tewantin, Sunshine Beach, East Deep Creek, Cooloola Cove, Kin Kin, Boreen Point

About the Role:

We currently have Part-time Service Support Worker positions available to service clients across the Sunshine Coast region. Our workers provide invaluable support by providing cleaning support to our clients in their homes.

Some suburbs of travel required in this role:

• Noosaville, Noosa Heads, Tewantin, Sunshine Beach, East Deep Creek, Cooloola Cove, Kin Kin, Boreen Point

About You:

We are looking for applicants that have:

• Experience in cleaning
• Comfortable in the use of housekeeping equipment
• Able to follow domestic care plans
• Clear communicator who can maintain professional boundaries with clients and their families
• Demonstrated ability to be able to work independently and effectively with the elderly

The physical demands of this role will include standing, stooping, crouching, kneeling, reaching etc.

• A Certificate II or III in Asset Maintenance (Cleaning Operations) will be highly regarded but not required

The following will be required of successful applicants:

• Current Driver Licence and your own reliable vehicle
• A current National Police Certificate
• Tetanus and Hepatitis B shots (or willingness to obtain)
