Join a team dedicated to operational excellence and customer satisfaction at Bendigo Bank. We're looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Support Officer to join our Settlements and Security team within the Customer Enablement division. This role is pivotal in ensuring timely and accurate loan processing and security management.

You will be responsible for the accurate processing of finance settlements, loan funding and drawdown, account setup, and ensuring all certifications are in order. You'll collaborate with solicitors, financial institutions, and internal teams to maintain efficient workflows and high service standards. Success in this role requires meticulous attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively within tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Arranging finance settlements with external stakeholders.
  • Managing loan funding and drawdown processes for third-party banking loansli>
  • Accurate setup of customer loan accounts and direct debits.
  • Ensuring certifications are correctly prepared and received.
  • Maintaining audit and security registers for bank documents and assets.
  • Meeting productivity targets and updating reporting spreadsheets.
  • Delivering high-quality communication with both internal and external parties.
  • Proactively identifying and implementing process improvements.
  • Adhering to all Bank policies and risk management procedures.

To succeed in this role, we'd love you to have:

  • Proven experience in loan processing, security documentation, or conveyancing (highly desirable).
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exposure to loan securities and relevant legislation (desirable).
  • While experience is valued, we prioritise mindset and potential — we warmly welcome graduates or early-career candidates who can learn quickly and adapt to new systems.

We offer flexible work options that put our people first and a hybrid model of minimum 60% (3 days a week) on site attendance.

This is a Part-time, (68 hours per fortnight so a 9-day fortnight) 12-Month Contract based at any of any of our head office locations (Ideally Bendigo, Adelaide or Melbourne)
