AnglicareSA in Adelaide is seeking a Support Facilitator to work with young people with lived care experience, guiding them toward independent living through strengths-based case management and coordinated supports.
You'll collaborate with families and service providers to access housing, education, employment and community resources, building confidence and financial literacy while centering the voices of young people.
50,000 lives and counting.
That’s how many South Australians our people support each year.
As one of the state’s leading not-for-profits, we’re making a meaningful impact at scale. From foster care to aged care and everything in between, our services are as diverse as the people and communities we serve - and we’re growing our reach for the future.
It takes a special kind of person to work in this sector. Someone with real compassion and care. Could that person be you?
Join us as a Support Facilitator, and be part of something bigger.
As a Support Facilitator, you will work alongside young people with lived care experience as they transition to independent living. Through strengths-based, trauma-informed case management and support coordination, you’ll empower young people to build confidence, develop practical life skills and take meaningful steps towards their future goals.
You’ll support young people to navigate housing, finances, education, employment, relationships and community connections, while helping them access the right services, supports and resources. By building trusting relationships and keeping young people’s voices at the centre of every decision, you’ll help them strengthen their independence, wellbeing and sense of belonging.
Working collaboratively with young people, their natural supports and other service providers, you’ll help create opportunities for lasting positive change. You’ll also contribute to group activities, advocate for young people’s needs and help them access grants and allowances that support their transition to independent living.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young people, supporting them to shape their own futures within a values-driven organisation committed to inclusion, reconciliation and community wellbeing.
This position is full-time on a fixed-term contract until 19th October 2027, based at Kurralta Park.
