A community support organization in New South Wales is seeking a caring Support Coordinator to aid individuals recovering from suicidal crises. You will provide tailored support, develop safety plans, and build partnerships with aged care providers. The ideal candidate possesses community services experience and strong people skills. We are looking for a caring and community‑minded Support Coordinator to join our Aftercare Service providing non‑clinical practical support to people recovering from a suicidal crisis or attempt with a strong focus on older people.
In this role you’ll walk alongside participants for up to three months, helping them regain stability, build confidence and connect with the right health community and social supports. You’ll also work closely with aged care providers, lifestyle villages and mental health services to strengthen pathways of support and raise awareness of suicide risk factors in older age.
