Job summary

The Boeing Company is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join the P-8A Sustainment Program at RAAF Edinburgh. The role focuses on maintenance, repair and overhaul supply support, delivering timely outcomes with direct impact on program success.

Location at Salisbury, SA, AU, with a permanent contract and opportunities to collaborate across a diverse, global aerospace environment. Applicants must be Australian citizens and meet Defence security requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years logistics experience within an aerospace/aviation environment; defence experience highly regarded.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and communicate logistics strategies and adapt to schedule constraints.
  • Ability to work with a high level of autonomy in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level communication skills to facilitate interaction between customer support teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience identifying and promoting supply process improvements at project level.
  • Competent with PC, MS Windows and MS Office; knowledge of ERP systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide logistics support for P-8A MRO supply.
  • Identify and resolve customer supply chain issues and discrepancies.
  • Ensure import/export requirements are met and compliant with Global Trade Controls.
  • Manage orders and delivery schedules.
  • Support management of repairable items and consumables inventory.

The opportunity

Boeing Defence Australia (BDA) is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to join the P-8A Sustainment Program based at RAAF Edinburgh. This position will deliver supply chain support to P-8A sustainment program, with a focus on Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) supply support, to ensure timely and positive outcomes having a direct impact on the success of the capability.

Responsibilities
  • Provide logistics support for P-8A Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) supply support
  • Identify and resolve customer supply chain issues and discrepancies
  • Ensure import and export requirements are met and compliant with Global Trade Controls
  • Managing orders and delivery schedules
  • Provide support for managing repairable items and consumables inventory
Experience/Qualifications

  • Competent in the use of PC, MS Windows and MS Office suite
  • Knowledge of Oracle ERP will be highly regarded
  • Knowledge of SAP D-ERP will be highly regarded
  • Supply support services knowledge, skills and experience
  • NV1 security clearance or ability to obtain one.
