Job summary

Comgroup Supplies, based in Brisbane, QLD, is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to take full ownership of the end-to-end supply chain, including demand and supply planning, procurement and allocation, warehousing and logistics.

Reporting to the CEO, this pivotal leadership role manages the strategy, budget and resources to ensure the right product is planned, sourced, stored and delivered at the right cost, time and quality.

About the Role

Comgroup Supplies is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to take full ownership of our end-to-end supply chain, spanning demand and supply planning, procurement and allocation, and warehousing, inventory and logistics. Reporting directly to the CEO, this is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the strategy, budget and resourcing decisions that ensure the right product is planned, sourced, stored and delivered at the right cost, time and quality.

You will lead a team of three functional managers - Demand and Planning, Procurement and Allocation, and Warehouse, Inventory and Logistics (including our warehouse site and its forklift and truck driver teams) - building a high-performing, safety-focused and commercially disciplined supply chain function.

About You

You're a commercially astute, hands-on supply chain leader with a strong track record spanning planning, procurement and warehousing/logistics - ideally within food manufacturing. You bring strong budget and resource management experience, a data-driven approach to decision-making, and the ability to build strong relationships across all levels of the business. You thrive on accountability and are committed to driving continuous improvement in service, cost, quality and safety performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end supply chain performance, accountable for service levels, cost-to-serve, inventory health and working capital outcomes.
• Lead, coach and develop the Demand and Planning Manager, Procurement and Allocation Manager, and Warehouse, Inventory and Logistics Manager.
• Own and manage the annual supply chain budget, including labour, freight, warehousing, procurement and capital expenditure.
• Oversee demand and supply planning, procurement and supplier management, and warehousing, inventory and logistics - including management of the warehouse site and its personnel.
• Drive on-time-in-full (OTIF) performance, forecast accuracy, freight and distribution cost efficiency, and inventory accuracy across the network.
• Maintain audit, customer and regulatory inspection readiness, ensuring compliance with WHS, food safety and legislative requirements.

You'll Bring

• Minimum 5 years' senior leadership experience across supply chain, spanning planning, procurement and warehousing/logistics, preferably in food manufacturing.
• A relevant qualification in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or Operations Management.
• Proven ability to manage significant operating and capital budgets, with strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Strong understanding of WHS/OHS, food safety and regulatory requirements relevant to supply chain operations.
• Proven leadership, coaching and team development capability, including leading managers of functional teams.
• Demonstrated success improving service, cost, quality and safety performance.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at Executive level.
