Job summary

Indigenous Business Growth in Maroochydore, QLD, seeks a Supervisor - Station 2 to lead frontline supervision for station works on a major rail project across South East Queensland. Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years in construction with 3+ years supervising station or complex civil works.
• Proven leadership of direct labour, plant and subcontractors in active sites.
• Current construction induction card and rail/supervisory competencies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise station civil, structural, platform, building, fit-out and public-realm works.
• Coordinate deliveries, cranes, access, height controls and temporary works.
• Confirm drawings, work packs, permits, inspections before work starts.
• Monitor workmanship and tolerances; arrange inspections before covering.
• Maintain daily records of quantities, delays and completion status.

A major transport infrastructure project (valued at more than $1 billion) is underway across South East Queensland, delivering complex rail, station and civil works. Having won numerous major projects in Queensland in the past 12 months, the head contractor is seeking a Supervisor - Station 2 to provide frontline supervision for station works, converting short-term plans into safe, coordinated daily delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise station civil, structural, platform, building, fit-out and public-realm activities
• Coordinate deliveries, cranes, access, work-at-height controls, temporary works and trade interfaces
• Confirm approved drawings, work packs, permits, inspections and materials before work starts
• Monitor workmanship and tolerances and arrange inspection before work is covered
• Maintain daily records, quantities, delays, constraints and completion status

What We're Looking For

• 8+ years' construction experience with 3+ years supervising station, building, structural or complex civil works
• Demonstrated leadership of direct labour, plant and subcontractors in active construction environments
• Current construction induction card and relevant high-risk, rail or supervisory competencies
