Job summary

ACCIONA is delivering the Alkimos Seawater Desalination Plant in Perth, Australia. The Piping Supervisor will lead piping crews on site, overseeing fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning to ensure safety, schedule and adherence to plans.

You will collaborate with project engineers and site leadership on a ten-year alliance project. The role requires 5+ years in construction with foreman/supervisor experience, a trade qualification, and a strong safety mindset with clear

Project Information

ACCIONA is delivering the Alkimos Seawater Desalination Plant, a landmark project securing Perth's water future. As part of an alliance with Water Corporation and Jacobs, ACCIONA will design, build, operate and maintain the plant for ten years. Stage 1 will supply 50 billion litres of drinking water annually from 2028, connected via a 33.5km pipeline to Wanneroo.

About Opportunity

As Piping Supervisor, you will lead the piping crews on site, working closely with project engineers and site leadership. You will oversee fabrication, installation, testing and commissioning of piping systems, making sure work is safe, on schedule and built to plan.

Key Accountabilities

• Supervise piping crews and subcontractors on site
• Plan daily work and allocate resources
• Check work meets drawings, codes and standards
• Fix technical issues and keep work moving
• Manage safety, quality and environmental risks
• Report progress to project engineers and leadership
• Train and support your team on site

Required Skills and Competencies

• 5+ years in construction, with time as a Foreman or Supervisor
• Cert IV in Construction Supervision (desirable)
• Experience in piping and mechanical construction
• Trade qualification in construction or manufacturing
• Strong safety focus and clear communication skills
• Must be able to complete a medical and national crime check
