Job summary

UGL Pty Limited is seeking Mechanical Supervisors for upcoming site-based work in Mount Isa, QLD. Commencing 21 September 2026, this project is expected to run for approximately 4 weeks with 12.5 hour shifts.

To be considered, you will bring a Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical, together with appropriate G1/G8/G9 tickets, heavy industrial experience, and a proven ability to manage workforce, conduct pre-starts and toolbox talks while maintaining a safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical is required.
• G1, G8 and G9 tickets are required/desired.
• Experience in heavy industrial environments is preferred.
• Experience in workforce allocation and pre-starts.
• Ability to read and interpret schedules for updates.

UGL Industrials are seeking applications from highly skilled and safety focused Mechanical Supervisors for upcoming site-based work in Mount Isa, QLD. Commencing 21 September 2026, this project is expected to run for approximately 4 weeks with 12.5 hour shifts.

To be considered for a role you will require the following skills, experience and attributes:

• Cert III in Engineering - Mechanical
• Flange Management Experience (desirable)
• G1, G8 and G9
• Experience working in a similar role or heavy industrial environment
• Demonstrated experience in workforce allocation and management, conducting pre-starts, toolboxes etc
• Ability to read and interpret schedules and provide accurate schedule updates
• Strong commitment to developing and maintaining a safe working environment
• Ability to prioritise, plan, organise and complete work within established deadlines
• Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with people at all levels in an informative and positive manner
• Strong client focus and a genuine desire to assist team members
