We are looking for a HME Maintenance Supervisor to provide strong, visible leadership to our Heavy Mobile Equipment maintenance team at Rio Tinto Gove. This is a great opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional or emerging leader to lead people, champion safety and drive reliable equipment performance in a challenging and rewarding environment. This is a residential role based in Gove, Northern Territory, working a 4 days on / 4 off / 4 nights on / 4 off roster.
Our Gove Operations have been supplying the global aluminium industry with world-class bauxite for more than 40 years. Located in Australia's Northern Territory, the operation produces approximately 12 million tonnes of bauxite annually. With a workforce of 460 people, daily activities include mine operations, maintenance, asset management, shutdown planning and execution, export operations, cultural heritage management, and closure activities following the 2017 decision to close the site's alumina refinery. The operation plays a critical role in Rio Tinto's aluminium supply chain and is supported by a diverse and skilled workforce committed to safety, respect and operational excellence.
