Job summary

AECOM is offering a 12-week, full-time paid summer internship in Australia. The program provides hands-on experience, exposure to iconic projects, and mentorship from technical experts, helping you apply classroom knowledge to real infrastructure challenges.

Participants gain valuable industry exposure, build professional connections, and have a pathway to graduate employment, with support to resume studies in 2028 after completion.

Qualifications

• Interns who are curious and excited to apply their studies in a professional environment; strong communication and teamwork.
• Bachelor's Degree: penultimate year or earlier of a relevant degree.
• Graduate Year: must have completed your studies before starting the program.
• Commencement: full-time hours from mid November 2027 to mid February 2028.
• Working Rights: full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand; student and graduate visas accepted.

Requirements for Success

• Summer Intern attributes:Interns who are curious and excited to apply their studies in a professional environment. You'll bring strong communication and teamwork skills, a positive and proactive attitude, adaptability, and a commitment to professionalism and integrity.
• Bachelor's Degree:You must be in your penultimate year or earlier of a Bachelor's or Postgraduate degree relevant to the role you are applying for.
• Graduate Year:You must have completed your studies and have graduated before starting the program.
• Commencement:Able to work full time hours from mid November 2027 - mid February 2028.
• Working Rights: You must have full working rights to work in Australia or New Zealand before applying. We do accept candidates with student and graduate visas.
