An environmental consultancy firm in Australia is seeking a Subterranean and Short Range Endemic (SRE) Ecologist to join their team. This role involves conducting field surveys, analyzing ecological data, and writing technical reports. The ideal candidate will have a background in Environmental Science and relevant experience in ecology. Flexibility in working arrangements and opportunities for professional development are offered.
Due to exciting growth in our Australian Environment and Geoscience Business, we are looking for intermediate to senior scientists to work in our Subterranean Ecology Team. We will consider local and interstate candidates for these positions and relocation assistance may be offered for experienced candidates. A background in subterranean or SRE ecology will be highly regarded. However, we will also consider candidates that have relevant associated experience, are highly motivated and wish to develop their skills in this field.
Our Subterranean Ecology Team are based in our Perth office and are experts in invertebrate ecology and taxonomy (subterranean and SRE), hydrogeology, biostatistics, and environmental impact assessment. The team have a comprehensive pipeline of exciting projects with key clients in the mining and resources sector. The team also have spacious, and modern laboratory facilities, with state-of-the-art microscopy equipment and imaging software.
