We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Sub-Assembly Operator to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Operating in a fast-paced environment, you will work under the direction of the Production Supervisor to assemble components accurately and efficiently. This position requires a collaborative professional who prioritizes workplace safety, adheres to company protocols, and maintains a high standard of operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Component Assembly: Efficiently execute sub-assembly tasks in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Equipment Operation: Safely and proficiently utilize manual and power tools to complete assembly processes.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all occupational health and safety (OHS) regulations and company policies.
• Team Collaboration: Work productively within a team environment to meet daily production targets and maintain workflow continuity.
• Quality Control: Identify and report any manufacturing defects or process inconsistencies to the supervisor.

About you

• Prior experience operating hand and power tools is highly preferred.
• A current Forklift License is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Possession of a valid driver's license and independent, reliable transportation is required.
• A proven track record of strong attendance, punctuality, and commitment to rostered shifts.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure, a strong willingness to learn new technical processes, and a proactive, solution-oriented attitude.
