Job summary

The Australian Psychological Society Limited invites applications for a Psychologist to join the Sub-Acute Psychologist team at TEHS in Darwin. You will deliver evidence-based inpatient psychological services within a multidisciplinary setting and have access to mentorship to thrive in your role.

Applicants must hold AHPRA registration, manage a caseload, participate in quality improvement and support students and staff within a collaborative, culturally respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Have qualifications in psychology that meet unconditional registration with AHPRA.
• Provide evidence-based psychological services within a multidisciplinary framework.
• Provide supervision and/or support to students and staff.
• Manage a caseload and re-prioritise to meet timelines.
• Participate in quality improvement and service development activities.
• Follow service quality standards and WHS policies; promote TEHS culture.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, culturally appropriate psychological inpatient services within sub-acute care.
• Work as part of a multidisciplinary team with mentorship and resources for growth.
