Job summary

Oberon High School is seeking a Student Support Officer to enhance student wellbeing and resilience by collaborating with the school wellbeing team and counselling services. You will deliver evidence-based programs and support, strengthening the learning and wellbeing outcomes for students.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Higher qualification in social work, youth work, welfare or related discipline

Responsibilities

• Enhance student wellbeing and learning outcomes in partnership with the wellbeing team and the school counselling service
• Provide individual and targeted wellbeing support
• Deliver whole of school wellbeing initiatives and programs that are evidence-based
• Work collaboratively with external agencies
• Create referral pathways for students and families to child and family support agencies

Education
