Job summary

Tyndale Christian School Strathalbyn is seeking a Part Time Student Wellbeing Officer to support student wellbeing across Foundation to Year 12. The role is 0.20 FTE (6.5 hours/week, 39 weeks/year) based at Strathalbyn, with a Friday preference where possible.

You will work in the wellbeing team to deliver services, run activities, support events, and provide pastoral care, contributing to a safe and inclusive learning environment and collaborating with Counsellors and Pastoral Care Coordinators.

Qualifications

• NSWP criteria required for the role.
• Applicants must have a sincere commitment to Jesus Christ.
• A philosophy of Christian Education and regular church attendance are expected.
• Experience in wellbeing support or pastoral care is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Work as a member of the wellbeing team delivering student wellbeing services.
• Contribute to student engagement through activities and events.
• Provide pastoral care to students.
• Contribute to a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
• Run activities, support excursions, and assist with lunchtime/recess groups; collaborate with Counsellors and Pastoral Care Coordinators.
