Job summary

Anglicare WA invites applications for a part-time Student Wellbeing role based at Newman Senior High School. You will engage with students, connect them with school staff, and outreach to disengaged students and families.

The role runs 2 days per week (15 hours) until 29 January 2027, with duties including facilitating wellbeing workshops and programs, and requires Cert IV in Youth Work or equivalent, DoE clearance, WWCC, and a current Police clearance.

Qualifications

• Cert IV in Youth Work or relevant qualification required.
• Current National Police Clearance and Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (DoE) within 12 months.
• Working with Children Check and WA Driver's Licence are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Engage with students through school-based activities and provide connection to professional staff.
• Support disengaged students and families to access community services.
• Facilitate school wellbeing workshops or programs.
