UNE Partnerships are seeking a Student Services Officer to join our team in Armidale. This role is perfect for someone who values making a positive difference in a students educational journey through thoughtful support and careful administration.

The opportunity

As our Student Services Officer you’ll be responsible for providing high-quality customer service and ensuring our students’ enquiries are responded to promptly and effectively.

What we offer

  • Work type: Full time or part time available (minimum 3 days per week), negotiable for the right candidate
  • Flexible hybrid working: WFH Mondays and Fridays, on-site collaboration Tuesday-Thursday
What you’ll be doing
  • Providing high-quality administrative and student support services
  • Processing student enrolments, attendance, course progress and records in compliance with RTO Standards
  • Assisting students with course information, timetabling and general enquiries
  • Supporting trainers and academic staff with administrative tasks
  • Maintaining student files, databases and documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Co‑ordinating orientation, graduation and other student engagement activities
  • Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders as required
About you

We’re looking for someone who has:

  • Strong administrative experience with high attention to detail
  • Clear, confident verbal and written communication skills across all platforms
  • Demonstrated reliability and ability to work independently while balancing team collaboration
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage tasks with competing priorities and demonstrate adaptability where needed
  • Confidence using or learning AI tools to streamline student support and admin processes

Additionally, the following skills and background will be highly valued:

  • Experience in the VET sector (studying or working)
  • Familiarity with online learning environments or CRM systems

Appointment to this position is dependent on obtaining an employee Working with Children Check and a valid Police Check within the last 12 months.
