A leading Australian university in South Australia is looking for a Student Placement Officer to coordinate and support Work Integrated Learning programs. This role includes liaising with placement providers, maintaining accurate data records, and providing stakeholder support. Ideal candidates will have strong organization, communication, and data management skills. The Student Placement Officer, internally referred to as the Work Integrated Learning Support Officer is responsible for providing a range of support services for the College’s Work Integrated (WIL) programs. You will work closely with the WIL Team Leader to leverage opportunities internally and externally and assist with administration, matching students to placements and ensuring that students meet the requirements for preplacement/WIL experience and contribute to enhancing positive graduate outcomes.
You will be required to provide timely advice to various stakeholders and students to support WIL supervision and exercise sound judgement when dealing with sensitive or urgent issues relating to student placements.

The key to your success will be your well‑developed organisation skills as you demonstrate your ability to prioritise operational situations and meet urgent deadlines. The Work Integrated Learning Support Officer will exercise initiative and problem‑solving skills to interpret and advise on systems, policies and procedures for the continual improvement of WIL support services.
You will have excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills, allowing you to work collaboratively with a range of university stakeholders and external organisations.
