Hassell is seeking Landscape Architecture students to join our Brisbane studio for a 12-month paid internship, combining study with hands-on project work and mentorship.

You'll assist senior designers across design stages, develop drawings and documents, and gain exposure to material research, concepts, and client presentations while balancing university commitments.

Job Description

We're looking for students currently studying Landscape Architecture to join our Brisbane team and gain valuable experience working alongside experienced landscape architects and designers on a diverse range of projects.

This paid internship is an opportunity to apply what you're learning at university in a professional design studio, while developing your design, technical and project delivery skills. You'll work closely with experienced team members, contributing to projects from early design through to documentation and delivery.

There is 12 month internship with the full time work during University holidays and part time options while you complete your degree, giving you the opportunity to continue building your skills and experience alongside your studies.

What you'll do

This internship will give you practical exposure to landscape architecture in a multidisciplinary design studio, while helping you build on your university studies and develop your professional experience.

• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
• A willingness to seek feedback, learn from others and take ownership of your development.
• Good organisational skills and the ability to manage your time and priorities.
• Full working rights in Australia, which are required to be considered for this opportunity.
• Available to work on-site at our Brisbane Studio.

It would be advantageous to have:

• Familiarity with design and documentation software such as AutoCAD, Revit, Rhino or similar digital design tools.
• An interest in planting design, landscape materials, technical documentation and physical model making.
