Job summary

The University of New South Wales in Sydney is seeking 15 student ambassadors for the Academic Calendar Transition (ACT) to be the student voice during a major calendar change. You will engage with prospective and current students, share perspectives, and help make the transition clear and engaging.

As a ACT Student Ambassador, you will support events such as Open Day and O-Week, join focus groups, provide information about ACT and MyPlan, and collect feedback to improve communication with

• Confident communicating with students in groups and one-on-one.
• Curious and interested in understanding the student experience.

Responsibilities

• Engage with prospective and current students, providing information about ACT, Engineering and the student experience.
• Share your student perspective and help students understand and navigate the transition.
• Be the eyes and ears of the ACT team, sharing student perspectives, questions and feedback to help us understand how students are perceiving and responding to the transition.
• Act as a MyPlan Champion, helping fellow students understand and navigate MyPlan.
• Participate in focus groups, discussions and other student engagement activities, sharing insights to improve the transition.
• Support Open Day and other key events, and participate in the events themselves.
• Engage in Student Information Days, O-Week and other Engineering and UNSW events to promote the student experience.
