Job summary

Charles Darwin University is seeking a proactive Student Communities & Engagement Coordinator to lead the ongoing development of our Student Groups programme and strengthen opportunities for student connection, belonging and leadership.

This Continuing Full-Time appointment sits in the Student Life team, offering diverse opportunities to work with students, colleagues and stakeholders to create a contemporary approach to engagement that supports belonging and leadership.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Ability to provide guidance, support and governance for student groups.
• Experience coordinating projects, events or training initiatives.
• Strong organisational and administrative abilities with reporting experience.
• Understanding of financial, purchasing and compliance processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of the Student Groups programme and enhance student connection and leadership.
• Provide guidance, resources and governance support to student groups and leaders.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and implement engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with the Student Life team on engagement projects to strengthen the student experience.
