We are looking for a General Foreman to join the Project Delivery Team based on our allocated project site. Reporting to the Site Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the site team through the direct supervision and coordination of subcontractors, suppliers, and labour hire workers on the site.

Your key responsibilities will include :
Site Coordination

Supervise daily activities on site, coordinating structural works (e.g. structural steel erection, precast / tilt up installation & underground services), ensuring correct sequencing of works, trades and commissioning activities.

Safety & Risk Management

Drive site safety culture, ensuring full compliance with WHS legislation, site-specific safety plans and high-risk work permits, responding promptly to hazards, incidents, and corrective actions.

Conduct daily pre-starts, toolbox meetings, and site safety inspections.

Manage controls for live plant, heavy vehicle movements, lifting operations, and exclusion zones.

Quality & Technical Standards

Verify works against plans and specifications, overseeing installation tolerances for industrial slabs, pits, footings, plant plinths, and structural interfaces.

Coordinate hold points, inspections, ITP sign-offs, and commissioning preparation.

Maintain accurate daily records, progress reporting, and as-built notes.

Subcontractor & Workforce Management

Schedule and manage subcontractors to ensure works are sequenced to minimise downtime and interface clashes.

Provide clear direction to site crews and maintain positive working relationships.

Materials, Plant & Logistics

Manage laydown areas, service corridors, and site logistics to prevent congestion.

Maintain material quality and secure controlled storage where required.

As the ideal applicant, you will demonstrate the following :
Skills & Experience

Trade qualification in Civil, Carpentry, Concrete or similar.

Current White Card, First Aid, and High-Risk Licences (EWP, Forklift, Dogging / Rigging) are advantageous.

Familiarity with Procore, 1Breadcrumb, Microsoft Suite would be considered advantageous.

Previous experience supervising construction in industrial or heavy commercial environments, with a strong understanding of structural, civil, and services coordination.

Comprehensive knowledge of WHS & industrial safety controls, including permits and exclusion systems.

Personal Attributes

Strong leadership and clear communication skills.

Practical and highly organised, with a proactive problem-solving approach.

Able to work in high-pressure, deadline-driven industrial environments.
