Job summary

Titan Recruitment is seeking a Structural Engineer with 4-10 years of experience to join a growing local structural engineering consultancy focused on mining and heavy industrial projects in the southern suburbs of Perth.

You will perform SpaceGass analysis, develop drawings and calculations, and prepare technical reports while ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and project safety requirements, with site visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent).
• 4 to 10 years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in mining or heavy industry sectors.
• Strong SpaceGass experience.
• Familiarity with Australian Standards (AS 4100, AS 3600, AS 1170).
• Strong understanding of steel and concrete design principles.
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and report-writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural analysis and design for mining infrastructure using SpaceGass and other engineering software.
• Develop and review engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports.
• Ensure compliance with Australian Standards, codes, and safety regulations.
• Participate in site visits, inspections, and structural integrity assessments.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during project execution.
• Assist in the preparation of project proposals, reports, and feasibility studies.
