Job summary

Vimal Consulting Pty Ltd in Ballarat, Victoria, is seeking a Structural BIM Modeller to develop and manage detailed 3D BIM models and construction drawings for civil and structural projects. You will work with engineers to ensure clash-free coordination and deliver documentation aligned with project requirements and standards.

Responsibilities include modelling to LOD 300 minimum, self-checking work, and collaborating with the project team and Job Managers.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of structural drafting experience.
• Ability to produce detailed drawings to project standards.
• Experience with BIM modelling tools and coordination.

Responsibilities

• Translate information from engineers, clients and other experts into polished, detailed drawings.
• Self-check completed work and support Senior draftspersons as needed.
• Produce models to the required LOD (LOD 300 minimum).
• Ensure drawing quality as Lead Draftsperson on projects.
• Collaborate with Job Managers when acting as Lead Draftsperson.
• Coordinate with other drafters on projects and share updates.
• Participate in coordination meetings as directed by the Job Manager.
• Upload and issue drawings using document control systems.
