Job summary

TSMG Holding is seeking skilled High Voltage Power Transmission Line Workers with extensive stringing experience for 330kV and above projects in remote Australian locations. The role requires working at heights on lattice towers, rigorous adherence to safety standards, and strong teamwork with site supervisors and engineers.

Ideal candidates have 5–6 years of hands‑on HV line stringing, fluency in English, and certifications in Working at Height and rigging.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–6 years hands‑on experience in HV stringing works
• Experience in 330kV and above is preferable
• Fluency in English
• Familiarity with stringing techniques, tensioning methods, and safety procedures
• Ability to work at heights and in challenging environments
• Knowledge of electrical safety standards and best practices in transmission line construction
• Physical fitness for outdoor conditions
• Working at Height certification mandatory
• Certification in rigging, lifting, or power transmission is an advantage
• City & Guild or equivalent certification is extremely desirable

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pay out, joint, clip, tension, sag, clamp, spacering, and jumper HV lines per safety standards
• Operate and maintain stringing equipment (tensioners, pullers, winches)
• Install insulator string fittings, conductors, OPGW, and earth wires as required
• Work at heights on lattice towers and monopoles
• Follow safety procedures and risk assessments for a safe site
• Use full‑body harness and fall protection systems
• Coordinate with site supervisors and engineers to meet project timelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve stringing operation issues

Job Overview

Malaysian-based EPCC company specializing in EHV solutions seeks skilled and experienced High Voltage Power Transmission Line Workers specializing in stringing works to join our team. The ideal candidate must have extensive experience working on high‑voltage transmission lines, particularly familiar with all stringing activities on 330kV and above.

Key Responsibilities

• Able to perform preparation works, paying out, jointing, clipping, tensioning, sagging, clamping, spacering, and jumpering for high‑voltage transmission lines in compliance with safety and quality standards
• Able to operate and maintain stringing equipment, such as tensioners, pullers, and winches
• Ensure proper installation of insulator string fittings, conductors, OPGW, and earth wires as per project requirements
• Work at heights on lattice towers and monopoles
• Adhere to safety regulations, work procedures, and risk assessments to ensure a safe working environment
• Familiar with all safety devices like full‑body harness, double lanyard, fall protection system, lifelines, discharge wires, and discharge rods
• Coordinate with site supervisors and engineers to execute work as per project timelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to stringing operations
