A leading submarine company in Adelaide seeks a Strategy and Planning Manager to develop strategic plans and align business outcomes with strategic goals. Requires over 10 years of strategy/business planning experience, tertiary qualifications, and strong communication skills. About the Opportunity
Reporting directly to the Head of Strategic Projects, as part of the Multi Class Sustainment (MCS) Business Unit. The Strategy and Planning manager is accountable for two major success measures: the development and maintenance of MCS strategy, represented in the ten-year strategic plan and the development and maintenance of a hierarchy of business unit roadmaps detailing key activities and milestones. The position will align the Multi Class Sustainment business outcomes with ASC’s strategic goals, by addressing long‑term issues, operational opportunities and risk mitigation.
Please note: While this is a full‑time role, we are open to considering candidates who are seeking a four‑day work week. Flexibility can be discussed during the recruitment process.
About you
This role requires a current National Police Clearance, an Australian Defence Security Clearance and an ability to access protected US defence technology. Your eligibility for this role is dependent on you obtaining and maintaining such clearances and approvals.
Whilst ASC will accept all applications for this role, as this role requires an ability to access protected US defence technology, applicants holding nationality of certain foreign countries will not be eligible.
