Job summary

Ie Company in Melbourne seeks a Strategy Consultant for its Labs Growth team to lead client engagements at AI and frontier tech frontiers. You’ll shape problems, run experiments, and translate possibilities into real propositions, guiding cross-functional teams through ambiguous scopes toward scalable delivery.

You’ll shape the Labs commercial pipeline, develop propositions, and hand over validated opportunities to the Studio for execution, reporting to the Director, Commercial and Growth (Labs).

Qualifications

• Ability to frame problems and assess opportunities through desirability, viability and feasibility lenses.
• Experience running experiments from concept to pilot with clear decision points.
• Hands-on experience applying AI tools across domains such as commerce and product development.
• Facilitation of design thinking workshops with systemic thinking for complex challenges.
• Understanding governance, data privacy, and secure-environment considerations in AI.
• Ability to prepare and present high-quality materials to leadership and executives.
• Autonomous, cross-functional leadership with curiosity about frontier tech.

Responsibilities

• Shape client proposals, pitches, and engagements and contribute to the Labs pipeline.
• Identify opportunities and develop propositions using agentic AI and frontier tech.
• Lead cross-functional Labs teams through often ambiguous engagements.
• Apply systems thinking to help clients architect future-ready businesses and products.
• Partner with the Studio team to hand over validated opportunities for delivery.
