Job summary

Michael Page Australia is seeking an experienced treasury professional to lead key treasury, investment and risk management activities within a large, established organisation with a strong governance focus.

The role offers strategic influence, ownership of liquidity planning, investment oversight and robust reporting, with opportunities to engage senior stakeholders and drive performance across FP&A, procurement and finance teams.

Qualifications

• Experience within treasury, corporate finance, banking, funds management or investment environments.
• Strong knowledge of liquidity management, investments, funding and financial risk.
• Experience developing or improving treasury governance and control frameworks.
• Advanced analytical, financial modelling and reporting skills.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications with CPA/CA qualifications highly regarded.
• Experience operating within a large, complex or multi-entity organisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead treasury strategy, governance frameworks and best-practice processes.
• Manage organisational liquidity and cash flow planning.
• Oversee investment portfolios and surplus cash deployment.
• Monitor financial risks including interest rate exposure and covenant compliance.
• Deliver high-quality treasury reporting and insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Build strong relationships with banking, investment and external stakeholders.
• Partner with FP&A, procurement and finance teams to enhance financial performance and cash management initiatives.
