The Victorian Department of Education is seeking an experienced Business Manager to join a shared position between Sebastopol and Mt Egerton Primary Schools. The role covers finance, HR, administration and school-wide resource management.

You will lead an office team, prepare budgets, manage recruitment processes, and provide guidance to Principals. The role requires strong HR/finance knowledge and excellent communication. 3 days at Sebastopol and 1 day at Mt Egerton weekly.

Qualifikationen

• SC1: Demonstrated capacity to lead an office team and direct others.
• SC2: Knowledge/experience with HR and financial management records systems.
• SC3: Understanding of financial management legal requirements and reporting.
• SC4: Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workflows.
• SC5: High level written and verbal communication skills.

Aufgaben

• Deliver School Services: design and produce school publications and documents.
• Finance: prepare budgets and financial statements; advise on spending; administer government grants and fundraising.
• General Administration: provide admin support for Principal/teachers; process admissions/enrolments; support school events.
• Human Resources: plan development programs for staff; manage recruitment; advise leadership on HR structures; ensure OH&S standards.
• Manage School Resources: coordinate use/maintenance of buildings; liaise with service providers; supervise contracted services; collect resource material.
