Job summary

De Bortoli Wines Pty is seeking a highly organised Purchasing Officer to manage the purchasing of dry goods and components, raise purchase orders, monitor stock and utilise MRP to meet production planning. You will maintain accurate costing and system information, ensuring supplier performance and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing of dry goods and components, ensuring competitive pricing, quality and timely delivery.
• Raise purchase orders and maintain accurate costing and system information.
• Monitor stock levels and MRP requirements to ensure components are available for production.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and resolve supply or quality issues.
• Collaborate with Product Development on component design, costing, artwork approvals, trials and packaging changes.
• Work closely with Planning, Operations, Finance and Sales/Marketing to support business requirements.
• Provide support to the Planning Department during peak periods
• Ensure all company policies, procedures and compliance requirements are followed.
