Job summary

ARDEX Australia is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to lead our procurement function from our Kemps Creek HQ in NSW. You will develop procurement strategies, source and manage suppliers, and lead a team to ensure cost-effective supply of materials and services across the business.

You will negotiate commercial agreements, monitor performance, and drive continuous improvement while reporting on savings outcomes and procurement risks to the National Supply Chain Manager.

Qualifications

• Proven procurement leadership experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, construction, building products, or FMCG environments.
• Strong knowledge of procurement, inventory, and supply chain principles.
• Demonstrated success leading teams and building stakeholder relationships.
• SAP ERP system experience, a continuous improvement mindset, and relevant qualifications highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies that support business objectives, inventory requirements, and supply continuity.
• Build strong supplier partnerships and negotiate commercial agreements to deliver value and performance.
• Monitor supplier performance, manage supply risks, and drive continuous improvement across the supplier network.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, procurement efficiencies, and supplier consolidation.
• Lead sourcing, tender, and contract management activities while ensuring compliance with company policies and governance requirements.
• Provide leadership to the Purchasing team and deliver reporting on purchasing performance, savings initiatives, and key procurement risks.
