Job summary

KBR in Adelaide is seeking an experienced Risk Management Specialist – Major Project Controls to support major water infrastructure delivery. Working within a high‑performing project controls environment, you will lead risk and opportunity management across complex capital programs.

You will partner with project managers, commercial teams and delivery partners to ensure risks are identified, assessed and managed to optimise cost, schedule and performance outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience leading risk and opportunity management for large infrastructure projects.
• Ability to facilitate risk workshops with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong communication of risk information to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Establish and improve risk and opportunity registers across major projects.
• Lead structured risk identification and review workshops.
• Coordinate QRAs for cost and schedule outcomes.
• Integrate risk management into reporting, forecasting and decision-making.
• Monitor risks with clear ownership and mitigation actions.
• Prepare risk dashboards and insights for governance forums.
• Ensure risk management practices meet governance requirements.
• Support partners in adopting consistent risk management frameworks.
• Identify emerging risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote a risk-aware culture across teams and stakeholders.
