VicGrid, part of the Victorian Government, is seeking a Director of Procurement to lead procurement governance, policy and contract management across its programs. Based in Melbourne, you will provide strategic advice to executives, drive value for money, and build capability within the procurement team.

This fixed-term role (3 years) involves delivering authoritative procurement leadership, analytics, and stakeholder engagement to support Victoria’s energy infrastructure and governance

Qualifikationen

• Experience in leadership roles of a procurement function within a government delivery agency.
• Expertise in strategic sourcing, governance and contract management.
• Tertiary qualification in finance, engineering, economics or related procurement discipline.

Aufgaben

• Manage procurement and governance frameworks, policies, procedures, systems and standards across VicGrid.
• Provide strategic leadership for procurement data, analytics and reporting to enable governance and decision-making.
• Lead and manage the Procurement team with high performance and capability development.
• Provide strategic advice to senior executives on procurement matters to drive value for money across the lifecycle.
• Develop partnerships with senior stakeholders including executives, government, industry and supply chain.
