Job summary

Merlin Entertainments, the company behind SEA LIFE, is seeking a Senior People Partner based in Sydney to partner with the General Manager and Leadership Team to drive a people agenda that supports commercial performance and sustainable growth.

You will lead organisational design, workforce planning, talent development and employee relations, guiding change initiatives while ensuring compliance with employment legislation and Merlin policies.

Qualifications

• Experience in a HR role within a fast-paced environment.
• Strong capability in organisational design and workforce planning.
• Proven track record influencing senior leadership decisions.
• Experience with restructures, redeployment and redundancies.
• Experience with Enterprise Agreements and union consultations where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Translate commercial priorities into people strategies to boost capability and performance.
• Lead employee relations investigations, disciplinary matters and performance issues.
• Provide guidance on restructures, redeployment and redundancy processes.
• Partner with leaders on industrial relations and union consultations.
• Oversee talent acquisition and capability development for Sydney cluster.
• Utilise data to inform people insights and change management plans.
