Job summary

Qualifications

• Significant accountancy or auditing experience with management accounts preparation.
• Well organised and flexible, able to adapt and take on additional tasks.
• Experience overseeing a company's financial control and reporting activities.
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of general ledger, budgeting, forecasting and compliance.
• Good interpersonal skills and understanding of business and financial issues.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management accounts from trial balances within 10 working days of month-end.
• Review WIP and loan accounts, perform accruals and prepayments.
• Carry out reconciliations for all GL accounts and investigate differences.
• Produce P&L, balance sheet and cashflow reports for management and joint venture partners.
• Prepare statutory accounts and liaise with auditors and tax accountants.
• Forecast cash and budgets, analyse variances and support cost efficiency recommendations.
