Job summary

South32 is seeking a Specialist Local Sourcing to deliver commercial value and minimise supply risk through expert sourcing advice and end-to-end category management.

You will develop sourcing plans, coordinate tenders and contracts, monitor supplier performance and collaborate with stakeholders to secure governance approvals and meet local procurement targets across a site-based, work-from-home model.

Qualifications

• At least three years in a similar sourcing or category management role.
• Contract drafting, negotiation and assessment of commercial risks.
• Collaborative stakeholder relationships and clear communication to influence outcomes.
• Practical use of SAP and Ariba Sourcing & Contracts.

Responsibilities

• Develop sourcing plans and coordinate tenders, negotiations and contract awards.
• Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues and manage contract variations.
• Partner with stakeholders to define scopes and secure governance approvals.
• Identify market opportunities and support local and Indigenous procurement targets.
• Help manage contracts and disputes.
