Job summary

Commonwealth Bank is seeking a Senior Manager to lead investment reporting, analysis and governance within the Group Financial Reporting & Analysis (FR&A) team. You will deliver insights to inform senior executive decisions, oversee governance processes and drive high-quality reporting across the investment portfolio.

Qualifications

• CA or CPA qualifications required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and commercial skills.
• Sound commercial judgement with a curious, questioning mindset.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Proactive ownership mindset with the ability to drive outcomes independently.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience with Tableau, Alteryx or Power BI would be advantageous but isn’t essential.

Responsibilities

• Lead key aspects of the Group’s investment reporting, analysis and governance agenda.
• Provide insights to support investment allocation and prioritisation.
• Oversee key governance processes and deliver high-quality reporting and analysis.
• Prepare investment reporting for inclusion in the Group's half-year and full-year Profit Announcements.
• Partner with Finance, Strategy and Business Units to support allocation of the Group’s ~$2.4bn investment portfolio.
• Support external investment due diligence and assess strategic alignment, returns, risks.
• Identify and drive continuous improvement across investment reporting, governance and analytics processes.
