Qualifications

• Significant experience in life, private health insurance and/or superannuation industries.
• Strong background in analytical areas such as finance, economics, actuarial studies or mathematics.
• Experience leading complex analytical projects and translating data into evidence-based insights for strategic decision-making.
• Able to identify emerging risks, challenge assumptions and provide practical recommendations in ambiguous environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience preparing briefing materials and executive papers.

Responsibilities

• Lead creation of high-quality industry insights and advisory materials for APRA's senior executives and regulators.
• Translate complex data into clear risk indicators and briefing materials to support supervision framework.
• Develop and enhance industry metrics, analytical frameworks and data collections across life, private health insurance and superannuation sectors.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders, regulated entities and industry forums to influence outcomes.
• Mentor analysts and contribute to the strategic program of work within Super SI.
