Job summary

City of Greater Dandenong is seeking a Band 6 Civil Engineer to shape infrastructure planning and capital works across our expanding network. You will investigate complex engineering challenges, develop sustainable solutions and prepare projects for delivery within the Capital Works Program.

You will work with internal teams, external authorities and the community to support growth, resilience and long-term asset sustainability, contributing across planning through to project development.

Qualifications

• You are a motivated and solutions-focused civil engineer.
• You have a degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in infrastructure planning, drainage, asset management, or related field.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with ability to prepare clear technical reports.
