Job summary

UGL is seeking an experienced Industrial Relations Manager to join our national Industrial Relations team in Brisbane. You will provide expert advice across enterprise bargaining, compliance and workforce planning while partnering with operational leaders and senior stakeholders.

Reporting to the National Industrial Relations Manager, you will lead negotiations, manage disputes, and deliver training to leaders, supporting growth opportunities and tender responses.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Industrial Relations and Employee Relations.
• Enterprise bargaining and agreement negotiation experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Fair Work Act and Australian industrial relations frameworks.
• Experience appearing before industrial tribunals and preparing submissions.
• Experience managing industrial disputes, union engagement and workforce strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop IR/ER strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Leading enterprise bargaining activities and supporting agreement negotiations.
• Providing advice on complex industrial and employee relations matters.
• Managing industrial disputes and supporting Fair Work Commission matters.
• Building strong relationship with unions, client representatives and key stakeholders.
• Supporting employee relations investigations and risk management activities.
• Delivering IR training, coaching and mentoring operational leaders.
• Providing strategic industrial relations input into tender and business growth opportunities.
