Job summary

Officeworks is seeking a Strategy Manager to partner across the business, delivering growth, profitability and improved customer experience. You will lead governance across transformation, coordinate SteerCo forums and prepare board papers, ensuring alignment with the Corporate Plan.

This role is based at Chadstone, Melbourne, offering an opportunity to influence decisions at executive level and drive measurable business outcomes in a high-impact environment.

Qualifications

• Qualified with tertiary degree; 5+ years in strategy, consulting or governance.
• Exceptional communicator with ability to tell compelling business stories.
• Strong stakeholder relationships and ability to influence as trusted advisor.
• Comfortable in ambiguous environments and embracing change.
• Curiosity and focus on long-term career growth.
• Experience establishing and facilitating governance forums and Board papers.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Inform strategic thinking through internal and external analysis.
• Develop strategies to grow profitability, productivity and customer experience.
• Create presentations communicating findings to senior stakeholders.
• Develop business cases and conduct cost-benefit analyses.
• Establish governance for strategic initiatives and track risks, issues and dependencies.
• Coordinate Transformation SteerCo meetings and maintain agendas and actions.
• Track transformation benefits and delivery status against budget.
