Job summary

Queensland Health is seeking a Principal Project Officer to lead governance, planning, reporting and executive support across the branch. You will provide expert advice, develop frameworks and reporting tools to drive strategic and operational priorities, and prepare briefing materials for executive consideration.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, mentor team members and foster a high-performing culture while delivering improvements to business processes and service delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex governance, planning, reporting or business improvement in a large organisation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify issues and propose practical solutions.
• Ability to develop governance frameworks, operating procedures and reporting mechanisms for decision-making and accountability.
• Excellent written communication for executive briefings, reports and correspondence.
• Proven stakeholder engagement and relationship management across diverse groups.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes on time.
